Hi, it snowed here in North Carolina for the second time! We got about three inches of snow. The sledding was really fun, but it was more fun last weekend. It was more fun last weekend because it was icy. This time it was powdery, but still really fun! I went sledding with a few of my friends, and it was really fun. My dog went crazy! She loves the snow so much that it is probably one of her favorite things, other than food, playing, and people. Thanks for reading!
If you like non-fiction books, I think you should read Odder by Katherine Applegate.
Odder is about this otter who was swimming free in the ocean when she encountered a great white shark, which led her to be taken in by an aquarium, where she found her new life as a caretaker for orphan pups.
The main character is Odder, and the biggest challenge she faces is overcoming the shark encounter and accepting her new life, where she finds her purpose to care for orphan pups.
I loved this book because it was really entertaining and kept me locked into it, while some other books aren’t as entertaining, and it’s hard to concentrate on them. I also liked how it was written in verse, which made it go a lot faster, and it felt like I was making a ton of progress.
My favorite part was when Odder finally started to enjoy her new life, because after lots of pain and new things, it’s nice to finally enjoy something for the first time in a while.
I give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars, and I think anyone would love it.
